THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING

Brian Protiva, CEOIt was when four visionaries set sail to conquer the world from the Robotron Meiningen—a microelectronics plant—to bolster value to the existing communication networks, that ADVA was born. Over the years, ADVA developed many products and solutions for networking and acquired many companies such as Storage Area Networks Ltd. (Cambridge, UK), Siemens Norway Telecom R&D Team (Oslo, Norway), MRV Communications, and many others. Collectively, the company’s team and technology are focused on one core objective—helping customers succeed. This focus has helped them develop with commitment in the past 20 years.
Having come a long way, the company, through its innovative solutions, addresses the need for the fastest, highest-capacity, and most agile networks available. ADVA’s FSP Network Hypervisor automatically allocates network resources and optimizes network efficiency, thereby minimizing the requirement for excessive capacity. With the FSP network management technology, ADVA easily transforms its FSP 3000 scalable transport solution into an elastic, cloud-native infrastructure for instant resource allocation in the client’s cloud.
A majority of the network traffic today consists of higher layer flows of packets such as over-the-top media creating a high demand for bandwidth.

The transport SDN utilizes optical network abstraction for simple integration into SDN-based environments and multi-layer coordination
Another fast-growing technology in the networking world is SD-WAN that provides immense growth opportunities for communication service providers (CSPs) and cost savings for enterprises. With ADVA’s Ensemble SmartWAN, organizations can deploy and manage virtual SD-WAN, and other network functions virtualization (NFV) services at scale. CSPs now have the scope to evolve their virtualized service offerings and provide virtual SD-WANs and best-of-breed virtual network functions (VNFs) from any supplier. Ensemble Connector—a highly scalable, high-performance virtualization platform— hosts multi-vendor VNFs and supports the service lifecycle from ordering to activation with secure and automated operation. The Ensemble Connector allows service providers to automate the delivery of multi-vendor software services with the help of uCPE.
ADVA employs over 1,700 professionals from around the globe who understand that networks must enable always-on applications that fuel industries. Also, the company’s ecosystem of hardware, software, and service partners focuses on accelerating automation and virtualization initiatives at the metro service edge to deliver maximum value to its clients.
Stepping into the future, ADVA will embark on the journey to work on some global megatrends such as cloud and mobility, IoT, and 5G. The company believes in its intrinsic role to be played in the future of network technology.

Description
ADVA Optical Networking is a company dedicated to provide innovative and reliable Optical Transport, Ethernet Access, Network Management, and Network Services. The company provides various solutions for scalable optical transport, network virtualisation, Timing and synchronization, Automated network management, Packet edge and aggregation and many such network related solutions. ADVA’s ConnectGuard platform utilizes low-cost universal customer premises (uCPE) solutions to push encrypted content to remote workers and branch offices. In this way, the enterprise can leverage both a hosted cloud deployment and uCPE clients to encrypt traffic not just at Layers 2 and 3, but on the Layer 4 host-to-host transport as well
ADVA has recently declared that Welcome Italia has chosen its FSP 3000 and ALM fiber monitoring solutions. Is it going to impact enterprise services in Italy? If yes, then how?
FREMONT, CA: ADVA, an intelligent telecommunications infrastructure solutions provider, has declared the selection of its FSP 3000 and ALM fiber monitoring solution by Welcome Italia. This technology partnership mainly focuses on assured high potential organizational services throughout Italy by creating flexible fiber-optic infrastructure and offer the security and credibility that the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G require the most. The new network stretches over to 2,500 km, connecting two primary data centers of Welcome Italia while featuring ADVA'S directionless, colorless, and flex grid multi-degree ROADMs. It is thus enhancing availability through automatic traffic rerouting. The solution also leverages comprehensive, low-latency security of ConnectGuard Optical encryption technology of ADVA. The network is currently being installed by ADVA's partner Sirti, which will later also offer ongoing maintenance and support.
